Job Overview
We’re looking for a highly organized & over-communicative HR Manager in the Philippines who can excel in talent acquisition, admin tasks, and culture-building initiatives. Someone who can find top-tier e-commerce talents quickly, manage onboarding and contractor records like a pro, and bring a little fun into the mix with virtual games, meet-ups, and thoughtful gifts on special occasions. The HR Manager/TA Specialist will oversee recruitment, employee relations, & performance management.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Human Resources Management:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, focusing on finding killer e-commerce talents quickly and efficiently.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job postings and candidate sourcing to screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and ensure timely placement of candidates while building and maintaining a strong employer brand.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, with a keen eye on maintaining organized contractor records and files.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers, and leading performance management processes such as appraisals, goal setting, and career development planning.
- Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment, including organizing virtual games, meet-ups, and other cultural activities like; sending cakes on contractor birthdays.
- Identify training and development needs and create programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
HR Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives, providing HR insights and recommendations to support organizational growth and development.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make informed decisions, ensuring compliance with all local labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management and talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices in the Philippines.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and recruitment tools.
- Certification in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
- Experience hiring Amazon FBA / E-commerce talent is highly desirable.
